Wasting Away Today in "Margaretta Ville"...

Today was another great day, 75 degrees F. and no clouds! Sat outside in the sun this morning and it was great! Judy was at the pool early and I did some RV maintenance...

John and Pat came over around 1:00 this afternoon, and we decided it was time to introduce them to Mexico, so off we went. It is just a 20 minute drive through California and down to the Mexican Border Xing.

Judy and I have been over before, and we posted some pics on that day, but again, can't remember what day we did that on.

Here is a picture of the "tourists" out and about this afternoon...

They sell everything over there, here is a sample of some of the stuff you can buy.

Today I picked up a pair of sunglasses, a new wallet, while Judy found a new purse.
Pat was checking out the Cigar vendor.... no, not really....

All that walking around started to make us all real thirsty, and we just happened to come across this great this square where they had some Mexican Musicians playing music, and Johnny treated us all to a Margaretta! ! We all walked away a little wobbly after drinking these....

We headed by to the USA after this, and we had about a 45 minute wait to cross the border as there were many people visiting Mexico today.

We did make it back to jump into the hot tub and contemplate life there for a while, and met an interesting couple who just came back from Mexico after completing a weeks worth of Mission work there. They have been doing this for man years and enjoyed it. They were heading back to Victoria, BC.

A couple nights ago I posted a blog with a picture of an SUV with antlers, (of all things) on it. I think I made some comment that they would look real good on Mary Demerling's Volvo back up in Bracebridge... well, it seems Mary is watching the mail for her antlers... so if anyone has any, let me know.... I will make you a deal on a pair of them... couldn't find any in Mexico today, imagine that...

After our hot tub, we did enjoy dinner and watching the Canada, USA Jr. Hockey Gold Medal Game, however the outcome in overtime was not what we were hoping for :-(( well, there is always next year!

till tomorrow...
