One new “DLink” later and you are up and running in blog land again!

After a trip this afternoon to The Source by Circuit City up in Bracebridge, I walked away with a new DLink Dir-615 to replace the one I felt was defective.   After a quick consult with my good Friend David Reid (AKA computer guru) I confirmed that this new DLink comes out of the factory with the same IP Address as our Hughes Net Modem.  As David says “The DLink wants to be the boss, so you have to tell it what to do and where to go!”  I few clicks of the mouse later and you find yourself in the administrative settings of the main menu for the Router, and it is a simple  thing to change the IP address.  You save the settings, and then you run the Quick Setup for the Router.  Tonight it was a “simple” set up and within 20 minutes or so I had the router configured and then a little tussle with the laptops to make sure everyone was on the same page in the Hymn Book, and presto, we are back online and wireless again!

It was super hot here again today, way up in the 30’s….    Lots of air conditioning going on here!  Sounds like our Daughter, Kristina and her Husband Chris in Woodstock broke down and installed air conditioning in their home, as it is mega hot there as well.

For all our Family and Friends, you can catch up on our two granddaughters, Emmie and Paige, at www.hollingergirls.blogspot.com  when you get a few minutes.  Looks like it has been warm down in Tennessee where they live as well.

Had a bit of frustration in life today, as I took the RV up to our local GM Dealership in Bracebridge, to have one of our speakers fixed, as it was cutting in and out on the drivers side… The guy showed up, and changed out the speaker, and of course charge the standard $200.00 for the repair.  I drove the Motor Home back to our KOA and of course as I pull into the Kampground the speaker cuts out!!!!  Gottal love it!

Judy and I have been watching the first season of a great TV show called “The Sons of Anarchy”.  It is about a MC Club. (Motorcycle Club)  It is real good with a bit of an edge.

Sorry, no pictures tonight, will have to find my camera again soon!

Till tomorrow…
