Hang on to your laptop!

Judy and I have made it over into California, boondocking at our favourite spot in Borrego Springs…

We had big problems getting our satellite internet working, as we did not use it much on the way down, and it took a few minutes to figure out where it was, but all is good now, and the blog will be back tonight!

  1. Welcome to sunny California! Are you going to send up some reconnaissance aircraft over Desert Hot Springs to check out your arrival?

  3. Awwww yes, Borrego Springs, one of our all time many favorite places. We will be in that area later but no idea when. Remember, if you need anything shipped to you like UPS, Fed Ex, etc the town's great little hardware store accepts deliveries for people. Just drop in and get the stores address. Check out the Nature Store across from Jilberto's regarding Jeep tours etc, camera outings, astronomy star parties and all kinds of neat-o stuff. Same for the Anza Borrego State Park Visitor Center because they have a lot of things going on. Slip over to Blair Valley through the Yacqui Pass and check out Marshal South's old homestead atop Ghost Mountains. Enjoy your boondocking freedom...we sure do:))
