A Day at Epcot!

Now there is a universal symbol for you right above! Everyone knows what that means!

The weather turned out perfect today for a day at the Epcot Centre. 85 deg. F. We arrived at 9:00 when the Park opened...

This shot of the big golf ball I took tonight, as we went back for the fireworks show... it was great!

There was a bit of a line to get in this morning, but it took no time, and we were able to manage our time very well inside the Park thanks to Garry and Shelly, who know all the ins and outs of Disney, being here many times in the past.

We started off on the Soaring Ride, which is simply fantastic if you have never been on it! You are in a glider, flying over Southern California, an are Judy and I are very familiar with!

Another big ride we took in was the General Motors Test Track. You start by building an electronic car on a big computer screen, and then you take it out on the test track and try it out! We did this ride twice, and I would have gone again! Check out our picture below...

In this picture, we are travelling about 65 MPH... just a flying... what a laugh! General Motors did a great job on this ride, and at the end you can see some of their newer cars... I took these next couple pictures for our friends Tom and Cheryl who are enormous Corvette lovers...

This is the new Corvette Stingray, that sells for $52,000.00 U.S. Dollars... Cheap!

The Mission Space Ride is good, and we made a trip to Mars! Love space themed rides!

Everything at Disney is always neat and clean... This is Mission Space from the outside.

We did it all today, even Finding Nemo above!

I am going to post some videos I took today, you can by pass if you don't want to bother, but some are kind of neat! All are on the short side of things.

This first one below is of the Disney Monorail.... I love it!

We visited all the Countries in the World at Epcot... this one below is a trio of drummers outside the Japan Buildings...

Next is from the American Display Building, of some great singers...

Tomorrow we are off to Animal Kingdon!

Till then...

  3. I liked the Epcot Center far more than Disney World when we visited. Lots of interesting exhibits and rides.

You look like Mario Andretti on that track, John!

    Nice video clips.
